FOR THE OFFICE OF IACCBE VICE PRESIDENT:

CURT CABLE, DALLAS COUNTY
My name is Curt Cable, your 2023 IACCBE Vice President Candidate. I live outside of Minburn, IA with my wife and three kids. We enjoy all things outdoors, like hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking to name a few.
I have spent over 13 years in the county conservation system. My first four summers were as a seasonal with Jasper County Conservation from 2009-2012. In 2013, I accepted my first full-time position with Poweshiek County Conservation as their Natural Resource Manager/Naturalist. In 2016, I took a Natural Resource Manager/Trails position with Dallas County Conservation. In 2020, I was promoted to Deputy Director for Dallas County Conservation. I served on the IACCBE committee for two years, first as a district VP representative in 2021 and as an ad hoc member in 2022. I take a great deal of pride in my work and that will continue as your 2023 IACCBE VP.

FOR THE OFFICE OF IACCBE SECRETARY / TREASURER

JONI HEFLEY, WEBSTER COUNTY
My name is Joni Hefley, and I am pleased to be your candidate for the IACCBE Secretary/Treasurer position. I have been with Webster County Conservation for the last 6+ years as the office manager. The Winterfest planning binder has been a permanent fixture on my desk since 2019 when I started serving as your secretary/treasurer. I have always enjoyed the training, experiences and networking offered by IACCBE and Winterfest, and am honored to be a part of the planning process for such.
I currently serve in an ex officio position for the Fort Dodge Convention and Visitors Bureau Board, a school board member for the Southeast Valley school district and the treasurer of a local youth wrestling club. I am married to my husband of 13 years and have 2 very busy kids ages 12 and 10. Most nights and weekends you will find me sitting in the bleachers at my kid’s events, and if we ever have a free weekend, we enjoy camping and horseback riding.
