2024 IACCBE CANDIDATE INFORMATION PROVIDED BELOW:
FOR THE OFFICE OF IACCBE VICE PRESIDENT:
MISSY SMITH, POLK COUNTY
My name is Missy Smith, your 2024 IACCBE Vice President Candidate. I am honored to be your candidate for the Vice President of IACCBE. I started my career in conservation in 2001 with Boone CCB and have bounced around in and out of county conservation for the last 20 years. I found my home (after my husband retired from the military) at Polk County Conservation. Every time we found ourselves back in Iowa, I was able to find conservation and the IACCBE committee, serving for ten years as an ADHOC member. I would love to continue to serve IACCBE in the role of VP and continue to be an advocate for the County Conservation system while hosting a statewide conference that connects all of our employees to ideas, methods, and technology that is critical to our success.
